Choosing your Roof - Color & Style

So, you need a new roof – aside from the durability of the new materials being installed there is one other question…what color, what style??? As new roofs have a 20-30 lifespan it’s certainly something to consider.

How decide? Your best bet is to work with the existing color of your siding. You can also key off your shudders and door color but those are easier to switch up. We always provide sample boards so our clients can spend time with their options, giving them time to evaluate what will work for them. It is a good idea to live with the samples for a few days. Differences in light and shade can vary from day to day.

The type of home would dictate the style of shingle. Some shingles mimic wood shakes, some slate, and others are configured to look like southwestern style clay. Scalloped works well with Victorian homes.

If you still can’t decide our owner Mike has decades of experience and can help you decide. When you pull into your driveway, you can rest assured your roof will be a perfect complement to your home.
